Mrs. Pearce is the Top Technology Teacher for January

Debra Pearce is a teacher in the Science Department at Park View High School.  Mrs. Pearce has been chosen as Top Technology Teacher for January because of her exceptional use of the technology in her classroom.  Mrs. Pearce uses PowerPoint presentations, United Streaming clips, websites, and her personal Porta Portal page.  I observed Mrs. Pearce as she reviewed her students for their upcoming SOL test.  Students' learning is enhaced through interactive webpages and wonderful illustrations are used through United Streaming clips.  Mrs. Pearce's success in her classroom is obvious as her students consistently score well on the SOL test.  Please visit Mrs. Pearce's Porta Portal page at: www.quest.portaportal.com/dpearce for more information on the wonderful resources she uses in her classroom.
