It’s a busy spring for our students! Here is a quick look at upcoming events, deadlines, and opportunities across the district:
🎭 PHOENIX THEATRE PRESENTS: "PUFFS" Don't miss the MCHS production of "Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic." * When: Friday, March 27 @ 7 PM | Saturday, March 28 @ 2 PM
Where: MCHS Auditorium
Tickets: $10 (Available at the door or online)
🎨 FINE ARTS FESTIVAL Celebrate the creativity of our students from across the entire division!
When: April 22, 2026 | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Where: Mecklenburg County Middle School
Details: Live performances (Band, Dance, Ukuleles, and more) plus artwork on display in the cafeteria.
📣 CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS Ready to show your spirit? Join the MCHS Cheer team!
Conditioning: Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays in April.
Tryouts: April 30 – May 4.
Action: Pick up a packet in the main office or from Coach Arielle.
💃 PROM COURT 2026 The theme is "Once Upon a Dream!" 🏰
Voting: April 13–16.
Winners: Announced at the Prom celebration on April 18.
📚 YEARBOOKS & BAND (MCMS)
Yearbooks: Orders for MCMS are due by April 3! Cost is $40. Use online code: 25175.
Rising 6th Graders: Come to the Band Instrument Petting Zoo on April 28 (5-7 PM) in the MCMS cafeteria to try out different instruments!
🎓 SENIOR FUNDRAISER Support the Class of 2026! Custom "Class of '26 Seniors" caps are available now for $20. Contact the school to purchase yours.
