This morning, a middle/high school bus traveling on Route 58 near the Complex area was involved in a minor accident. Emergency responders arrived promptly and evaluated the situation.
We are thankful to report that all students are safe and no injuries were reported. The bus sustained only slight damage, and students were transported safely to school.
We appreciate the quick response of EMS and staff for helping ensure the safety and well-being of our students.

Friday Night Lights on the Fairway Team Registration
Registration is now open for the “Friday Night Lights on the Fairway” Golf Tournament supporting Mecklenburg County High School Football. The tournament will feature a 4-player scramble, tons of giveaways, and lunch catered by Hutch Smoking Grill BBQ & Catering. Mecklenburg County Public Schools will be closed tomorrow January 30. 12 month employees report to work (10:00 am-4:00pm)
Due to the possibility of hazardous weather tomorrow, Friday, December 5th, and out of an abundance of caution, Schools will be closed and the day will be a remote day for students. One day's worth of homework is being sent home for students to complete and return once schools are back in session. Tomorrow will also be a remote work day for all twelve-month employees. Maintenance staff, please contact your direct supervisor for any additional information. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

On November 25th, homerooms will compete against one another in various games and relay races. The homeroom from each grade level with the most points will celebrate with an ice cream party at the end of the day. There will be a prize for every student in attendance, and drawings held during the Grade Level Games for various passes.
