About the Assistant Principal

Reagan Cannon brings more than 18 years of experience in education to Mecklenburg County Middle School and serves as assistant principal with primary responsibility for sixth grade students. She began her career as a paraprofessional and has served as a classroom teacher, driver education instructor, athletic coach, Health and Physical Education department chair, and assistant principal at both the elementary and middle school levels.

She is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment where students are held to high expectations and supported in their academic, social, and emotional growth. Her leadership emphasizes strong school culture, student accountability, improved attendance and meaningful collaboration with families, staff, and the community.
