South Hill Elementary was full of energy and discovery this week, as students across all grade levels celebrated learning in creative and meaningful ways. From science fairs and math games to kindness projects and bus safety drills, the Sharks proved once again that every day is an opportunity to grow.
Pre-K and kindergarten students took part in literacy adventures, fine motor practice, and even kindness crowns with their school counselor. First graders showed teamwork in recess fun, math, and money-sorting challenges. Second graders impressed with hands-on art and creative indoor play, while fourth graders dazzled the audience with their science fair projects. Across the building, smiles filled picture day, birthdays were celebrated, and leadership shined as even administrators joined in classrooms for storytime.
It was a week that showcased not just academic progress, but also the values of kindness, safety, and joy in learning. South Hill Elementary continues to embody the spirit of Mecklenburg County Public Schools: Driven by Excellence. Designed for Every Learner.
