Our district uses the Rooms in the MCPS app to send announcements and messages from your child’s teacher/school. If you’re not receiving notifications, your phone settings may be blocking them.
Please take a moment to:
✅ Check that notifications are allowed in your phone’s settings for the MCPS app.
✅ Open the app and make sure Messages and Announcements notifications are turned on in the app settings.
This ensures you receive important updates, reminders, and communication from your child’s school.
If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, you can get it from the App Store or Google Play. Thank you for helping us keep communication strong between school and home! 📱✨

📚✨ March 2 through March 6 ✨📚
All week long, our elementary students will enjoy special guest readers who are taking time to share their love of reading and connect with our learners in meaningful ways. There is nothing more powerful than a great story read aloud by someone who believes in the magic of books.
Even more exciting, every elementary student will receive a free book to take home and keep. We want our students building home libraries, growing their imaginations, and discovering that reading can take them anywhere.
Families, ask your child what they are reading this week.
Community members, thank you for being part of the story.
