Our winter dance scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, December 12th has been postponed to a later date. We will get that information out to you all as soon as it’s available. If you have already purchased your tickets, no worries, we will have those ready for you for our rescheduled date. CCES School Market will be held tomorrow, December 11th from 4:15 PM-5:45 PM. This is open to all currently enrolled CCES students. This event is on first come first serve basis and open only until supplies last. No guests will be allowed to park until after 4PM to allow ample time for dismissal.

Due to the possibility of hazardous weather tomorrow, Friday, December 5th, and out of an abundance of caution, Schools will be closed and the day will be a remote day for students. One day's worth of homework is being sent home for students to complete and return once schools are back in session. Tomorrow will also be a remote work day for all twelve-month employees. Maintenance staff, please contact your direct supervisor for any additional information. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Mecklenburg County Public Schools (MCPS) is excited to announce our first Attendance Power Day on September 30, 2025!
On this special day, every school will be competing for the Power Attendance Award, a recognition that celebrates the importance of showing up—every student, every day. The school with the highest attendance rate will take home the Power Attendance School Banner and earn the honor of displaying the Division Traveling Trophy.
In addition to these awards, MCPS will highlight and recognize students for their engagement, effort, and commitment to learning.
MCPS invites families, staff, and community members to help spread the word and encourage students to be in school on September 30. Let’s work together to make Attendance Power Day a huge success—and show that MCPS is truly Driven by Excellence. Designed for Every Learner.
