Join us for this year's Art Export! This year our expo will include our students' coral reef on display, which was made from recycled materials found within our school. Every child has played an important role in this year's installation for the Art EXPO! Student Highlight: Te'Yona's artwork is featured on the flyer; she drew and painted the crab on the beach with watercolor paint, having drawn from observation. Her artwork was selected to represent CCES for Mecklenburg's elementary submission for the Virginia School Board Association (VSBA). At the conference, her artwork won 1st Place for the division at the elementary level and will be displayed at the regional office! She will be recognized by the school board at the April 21st meeting, along with the middle and high school students who participated also.
